While pregnant with my second, I had my husband take pictures of my every expanding waistline and disappearing belly button after being inspired by Cole's Maternity Series on Pacing the Panic Room.
I love going back now and looking at the transformation my body went through over those 9 [let's be real, TEN] months.
My family who lives 8 hours away got to see my belly on a weekly basis and loved staying up to date with it's [well....her] development. The only downside is that my husband is not a professional photographer ;] While I'm still so glad I have those pictures, I would have enjoyed having a professional capture our growth the entire time as well. While I loved my pictures that our photographer took, and encourage all women to take the time to get pictures done at the end of your pregnancy with your family, sometimes you just want something a little different!
So since I offer Grow With Me packages for babies and nurslings, I thought I'd do the same for my mamas!
"Bump Day" is what some of my friends and I would call the day of the week that our baby got a week older on. Every Thursday was Bump Day for Norah. Now while it's unreasonable to ask my clients to get with me every week, every month doesn't sound too bad, huh? Here's how it works.

38 Weeks: Still hanging in there! We can probably see how much lower your baby is!
40 Weeks: You made it! The Due Date is here!
2 Weeks PP: The little guy/gal you waited for is here! Time to get out of the house and show him/her/THEM? off :]
As always each series will be customized to fit each mama/baby bump. And since I turn 22 today, the first two to book this session with me will receive FIFTY dollars off their package! So if you know someone who is pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant [this is starting to sound like a caution on a drug commercial] make sure they know!
Email me at maeburkephoto@gmail.com for more info on dates :]
Happy [Birthday] Wednesday!
Mae
